Israel has let 900,000 tons of food into Gaza

Israel has let into the Gaza Strip almost 900 kilotons of food in some 40,000 trucks over the past year, according to official data.

The data was released on Friday following the International Criminal Court’s decision the previous day to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister Yoav Gallant. Israel has roundly rejected the allegations, which it called false and antisemitic.

The food data appears to undermine the ICC’s reasoning for issuing the warrants, which it said was over suspicions that the two Israelis “knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity.”

In addition to food, about 2,600 trucks containing more than 51,000 liters of water were let in, along with almost 30,000 tons of medical equipment. An additional 10,000 aid drops took...

Unveiling the deeper meaning behind Pete Hegseth's tattoo

The Jerusalem Cross: A Timeless Testament of Faith

In a world quick to label and divide, the Jerusalem Cross—tattooed on U.S. Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth—has sparked both controversy and curiosity. But this ancient Christian symbol, deeply rooted in the Holy Land, tells a far richer story than what headlines suggest. It stands as an emblem of Christ’s Passion, the five wounds of His Crucifixion, and the hope of the Resurrection. Across Jerusalem and throughout the Holy Land, it serves as a powerful reminder of faith’s enduring strength.

What Is the Jerusalem Cross?

The Jerusalem Cross, also known as the Crusader’s Cross, is a striking symbol with one large central cross surrounded by four smaller ones. Its interpretations reveal layers of meaning:

  • The Five Wounds of Christ: The large cross symbolizes the wound on Christ’s side, while the smaller crosses represent the wounds on His hands and feet.
  • The Four Evangelists: The smaller...

The Values of a Nation - 4 Timeless Truths from Amos

The prophet Amos spoke boldly to the Northern Kingdom of Israel during a time of prosperity and peace. Outwardly, the nation seemed strong, but beneath the surface, corruption, idolatry, and injustice festered. Amos’s warnings resonate deeply with us today as modern-day Esthers, standing in the gap for our nations and seeking to restore godly values.

Amos challenges us to consider: What are the values of a nation, and how does a nation reflect its relationship with God?

1. The Authority of God’s Word
"This is what the Lord says..."Amos 1:3

Amos’s ministry began with this declaration: God’s Word is the ultimate authority. A nation that honors God must submit to His Word as its moral compass. When leaders or individuals stray from Scripture, chaos and moral decay follow.

Reflection:
How can we, as Esthers, promote the authority of God’s Word in our families, churches, and communities? Spend time reading and meditating on God’s Word...

New Twists on Boycotts Against Israel: Are Mary and Joseph in Danger?

On December 6, Netflix is releasing its Christmas movie called Mary. The title character is played by 21-year-old Noa Cohen, with 22-year-old Ido Tako as Joseph. Legendary actor Anthony Hopkins in the role of Herod is sure to weave a star-powered combination in the trio. However, BDS and anti-Israel groups are outraged! Why? The actors portraying Mary and Joseph are Israeli Jews—not Palestinians.

When Palestinians instigated boycotts in 1995, they assumed Israel would breathe its last if strangled with economic warfare, terror, and propaganda. Clearly, they were mistaken. BDS—Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions—targets Israel, the world’s only Jewish nation. Now, BDS is manifesting further madness about the film, Mary.

Bottom line: BDS adherents aim at erasing the Jewishness of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus—our Jewish Messiah—born in the fields of Bethlehem Ephrathah near the Tower of the Flock (Migdal Eder). In a fascinating side...

A Dangerous Alliance: Russian Weapons in Hezbollah’s Arsenal

In a startling discovery during their ground operations in southern Lebanon, Israeli forces found stockpiles of advanced Russian weapons in Hezbollah’s hideouts, some produced as recently as 2020. The weapons, including Kornet anti-tank missiles and other guided systems, were discovered within a kilometer of Israel’s northern border—evidence of Hezbollah’s preparations for potential aggression against Israel.

The Origin of the Arsenal
Intelligence suggests that these modern weapon systems were transferred from Syrian stockpiles. Russia, a longtime supplier of the Syrian military, has been instrumental in bolstering the Assad regime. This support extends to Iran and Hezbollah, creating a dangerous network that undermines Israel's security.

As David Adesnik of the Foundation for Freedom of Democracies explains, “These latest weapons shipments are an apt illustration of the full convergence of Russian, Iranian, and Syrian interests in support of...

Healing the Enemy: The Harrowing and Inspiring Story of Dr. Elliott Konis

In a story that defies comprehension, Dr. Elliott Konis, a Polish Jew, was forced to work as a doctor for Nazi soldiers during World War II. His tale of survival, resilience, and ultimate pursuit of justice has now been unveiled by his sons, Allen and Leonard Konis, through a significant donation to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

A Life of Hope Turned Tragedy
Born in 1911 in Vilna, Poland (modern-day Vilnius, Lithuania), Dr. Konis had just begun his career as a physician when the Nazis invaded in 1941. He and his family were confined to the Vilna ghetto, where starvation, disease, and systematic murder became their daily reality. When the ghetto was liquidated in 1943, his first wife, Hanna Asgud, a nurse, was among those sent to their deaths.

Despite his own suffering—including beatings, a fractured skull, and starvation—Dr. Konis was spared solely because his medical skills were useful to the Nazis. Forced to treat wounded German soldiers, he witnessed...

How Do We Stop Pogroms and Riots in Amsterdam, Germany — and America?

Seventy-six years after the Holocaust, Jewish communities find themselves grappling with a haunting reality: antisemitism is not a relic of the past—it is alive and thriving. From the streets of Amsterdam to the campuses of America, hate has found fertile ground once again. The pressing question is no longer “Why is this happening?” but “How do we stop it?”

A Chilling Resurgence

In Amsterdam, mobs hunted Jewish soccer fans, beating them with clubs and explosives mere days after a match. Berlin followed suit, mirroring the terror of Kristallnacht. Arrests were made, but most perpetrators were quickly released. Even worse, Amsterdam’s mayor shockingly shifted blame to the victims, excusing the violence as a reaction to their presence.

As Daniel Pomerantz of RealityCheck aptly writes, “Europe’s passive response sends a message: antisemitism is tolerated.” This inaction is more than negligence—it is an open invitation for hate...

Safe Passage and a Price for Freedom: Netanyahu’s $5 Million Hostage Reward

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took a bold stand during his recent visit to Gaza, issuing an ultimatum to Hamas and an unexpected offer to those willing to help free the hostages still held in captivity. Standing along the Mediterranean shore in the war-torn Netzarim Corridor, Netanyahu declared:

"Anyone who dares to harm our hostages will have blood on their head. We will hunt you down and get you."

However, the Israeli leader also extended an olive branch of sorts to those holding captives:

"Whoever brings us a hostage will be given a safe way, for him and his family, to leave. We will also give a reward of $5 million for each kidnapped person. You choose — the choice is yours — but the result will be the same. We’ll get them all back."

This unprecedented offer underscores the urgency of Israel’s mission to bring home the 101 remaining hostages, a campaign Defense Minister Israel Katz described as Israel’s “most important...
