A Mitzvah Unlike Any Other

"I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, Lord, for it is good."  Psalm 54:6

Each week Christian Women For Israel shares an opportunity with our community of modern-day Esthers to live out God’s word by doing a mitzvah, good deed! We call it our Mitzvah Challenge. This week’s challenge is unlike any other.

Thank you for reaching out to us to share how the impact the Coronavirus has had on you, your family and your community. We pray with you for healing, protection, and God’s divine intervention. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to come against the anxiety accompanying this deadly virus and the economic uncertainty.

This week's challenge is to give back to God, a free-will offering. Jesus gave His all that we may have eternal life. He came into this world to give not to take. We are challenged to live like Jesus, as Daughters of the King. Included in this mitzvah is the obligation to bring other people closer to Jesus. One who loves someone will sing His praises and tell others to love Him, too.

Three ways to share the love of Jesus through your words and good deeds:

  1. Send a Blessing and note of encouragement to a Holocaust Survivor for Yom HaShoah next week on April 20th.

  2. Extend a helping hand to women in need due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
  3. Send an emergency food package to an elderly couple or family in Israel who is in desperate need.

CW4I Ambassadors are using their voice and influence in their local communities to help during this world-wide crisis from making masks, delivering emergency food packages to serving as moderators at virtual townhall meetings to share information about local resources.

We thank you for being a Mitzvah Maker, for such a time as this

And as you join us in praising the Living God for the miracle of the modern-day state of Israel, we pray you’ll renew your own resolve to bless Israel and the Jewish people by giving a generous gift of support.

May God bless you for being a blessing to Israel and the Jewish people
